Special Note: The property was given to the Park District through a generous donation by David and Janet Kasley. The park is named in honor of Dave’s brother William Anthony Kasley who served in the Signal Corps of the United States Army during World War II with the 84th Infantry Division. William’s unit was known as the Railsplitters, he was killed during the “Battle of the Bulge”.
