Take a stroll around the park
Located at 101 S. Ninth St., the 2.3-acre James Field is the perfect spot for a quiet stroll with a 0.2-mile walking trail. Need to get some practice in? James Field is also home to two practice baseball/soccer fields along with drinking fountains and benches. Be sure to check out the monument on the southwest corner compliments of Randy Price!
Take a Walk
The paved, asphalt path that circles James Field offers a short, quiet, leisurely stroll for all guests. At 0.2 miles in length, five trips around the path equals one mile.
Park Safety and Preservation
To preserve the beauty of James Field, as well as ensure the safety and enjoyment of all park patrons, camping, hunting, use of alcohol, littering, disturbing wildlife, cutting of flowers, trees or shrubs, dogs off leash, and straying from designated trails is prohibited. The use of motorized vehicles and fires outside designated areas is also not allowed. Thank you for your cooperation.
