Get into Family Fun

What kid doesn’t love the feel of rushing down a slide? And with so many playgrounds in Pekin, you can take your pick of high-energy, bustling parks to neighborhood parks that you just might have all to yourself. Here’s your guide to all the family-favorite hot spots.

Go on an Adventure

One of the best things about having over 2,000 acres to explore is that you’ll never be at a loss for new places to explore. Here are some of the best spots to soak up the sun and enjoy nature.

Get Moving

Whether you are focused on getting your steps in, cruising through town on your bike, or having fun in the water, we have a little something for everyone.

Play Ball

Nothing is better than a competitive, pick-up game with family and friends. Lucky for you, we’ve got tons of space for you to see who can bring home the WIN among your friends. Most courts and fields (except those at Pekin Sports Complex*) follow the “first come, first served” rule. But if you want to guarantee a space for a set date in Mineral Springs Park, you can always contact our team at the Pekin Park District and reserve a court or field for play.

*Use of Pekin Sports Complex facilities is by reservation only.

NOTE: Team practices and tournaments must be scheduled through our office to make sure there are no conflicts with the date(s) and time(s) you choose.
