October is our water line winterization month, during which we start closing down various non-insulated water features around the parks that are subject to freezing during the winter months.
Many outdoor restrooms, splash pads, fountain features, and drinking fountains (for people and dogs alike) will be closed for the season until this spring when the weather starts to warm back up. The restrooms at the Coal Car Drive maintenance shop in Mineral Springs Park, near Diamond 2, will remain open throughout the winter.
